CONSIGNMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. A Second in Time, LLC charges annual fee of $10.00 to consign an unlimited number of items. We only accept things in very good to like new condition. We do not accept china, plain glassware, crystal or silver-plated items. When in doubt, email pictures to asecondintimeconsignment@gmail.com.

2. We consign by appointment only. All Consignors receive 50% of what an item sells for in the store excluding sales tax. All items sold on Ebay, fees are subtracted, and we divide the profit 60% store/40% consignor. If an Ebay item is returned because a defect in the item, consignor is responsible for all shipping costs. We reserve the right to charge a small buyers fee to recoup the cost of processing items (tags-ink).

3. All items must be in good condition free of smoke, major defects, scratches, dents etc. and be clean and stain free. If found dirty or damaged after being dropped off, a fee of $35 an hour will be charged for cleaning and/or repair. Smoke damaged items can be disposed of immediately, so the smell doesn’t permeate the store.

4. All items determined not suitable for the store due to damage must be picked up within 3 days of notation in your account or they will be donated or disposed of. It is your responsibility to report any items listed incorrectly or missing in your account within 5 days of dropping them off for us to rectify the corrections.

5. All consigned items must stay at A Second in Time Consignment until they are either sold or the consignment term of 60 days is reached. All items must be reclaimed within 5 days of the 60-day deadline. Any seasonal Holiday items need to be picked up within 5 days after the holiday or they become property of A Second in Time, LLC.

6. The consignor is responsible to track the expiration date of their consigned items. Expired items that are not picked up become the property of A Second in Time, LLC and may be donated. Any request to take items back prior to the 60 days are subject to a 30% fee of the total amount the items are listed for.

7. A Second in Time, LLC reserves the right to refuse any items we feel not suitable for our customers for any reason. Pricing of consigned items will be decided by A Second in Time, LLC. We reserve the right to have sales and promotions.

8. Payment to the Consignor will be made in person at A Second in Time Consignment Tuesday thru Friday from 10am to 4pm by appointment.

9. Although we will do everything possible to preserve your consigned items, A Second in Time, LLC will not be responsible for damage to items by customers, fire, smoke, water, theft or any other casualty or loss. Our insurance carrier will not cover any items that we do not personally own.
